Season Venues
Mpumalanga Venues and Dates Season 2022-2023
15-16 October 2022 – Arabie
19-20 November 2022 - Vygeboom
18-19 February 2023 – Witbank
18-19 March 2023 – Heyshope
You are not allowed to bring in a fish shorter than 300mm, 5 fish limit. Dead Fish – If you put the fish in the basket and it doesn’t gills within 60 seconds it will be deemed as a dead fish.
Good standing will be required. Good standing will be attending a minimum of 75% of all comps.
There will be 8 comps and 6 to count.
National Format: The 40/60 ratio will still be used to qualify going forward and carried over from the 2nd year for 3 previous years. A new angler form another province will be allowed to bring over his ranking (history) at the start of a new season.
Starting position for the first comp will be a draw. Thereafter the Sunday will be based on the results for the Saturday. All the following comps will be based on Year to Date. At the 7th comp you are allowed to “kick” the one lowest result.
The fishing time will be from 06h00 to 16h00 Saturday and Sundays.
5 day cut-off period before a Regional compatition.
